NITC: Premium Nut Exporters for Four Generations
For over four generations, the Nazari family has been dedicated to the art of growing and sourcing the world’s best nuts. While our deep roots are in pistachios, our expertise now extends to premium almonds and a wide variety of nuts.
NITC honor our heritage by focusing on time-tested quality, while using modern technology to ensure consistency, food safety, and reliable global export. From our fields to your facility, we deliver the taste and quality your customers expect.
A Transition to Modern Processing
For decades, we dedicated ourselves to traditional manual processing, cherishing the artisanal approach that defined our craft. Like many other pistachio growers, we started with manual processing and traditional workers, dropping pistachios onto sheets of canvas and depending on our workforce to separate them one by one. At that time, we had no other options, and although this method had a sense of tradition, it proved to be time-consuming and prone to errors.
However, in 2017, we embarked on a transformative journey towards modernization. The introduction of two pistachio conveyor belts marked the beginning of our adherence to incorporating cutting-edge technology into our operations.
Warehousing for Efficiency
In 2018, NITC took another significant step forward by establishing a state-of-the-art warehouse processing facility. This expansion allowed us to enhance our capacity and efficacy. Two additional conveyor belts were seamlessly integrated, streamlining our processing capabilities.
With the implementation of a significantly larger and more industrialized warehouse, our processing and selling capacity experienced a notable boost. Human errors were reduced, processing times decreased, and our ability to accommodate more orders expanded, thanks to the increased space at our disposal.
Looking Ahead
Prior to our modernization efforts, we had the capacity to export 300 tons of pistachios per year. However, with our recent advancements, we have significantly expanded our potential, now poised to export up to 1000 tons of pistachios annually.
As we stand on the cusp of a new era, our journey towards modernity and quality remains unwavering. The relentless pursuit of innovation is embedded in our DNA, and we are excited about the possibilities that the future holds.
