Our Evolution in Pistachio Processing

With a heritage spanning four generations, we take pride in our longstanding history in the pistachio industry. Over the years, we have embraced a commitment to excellence and a tradition of quality that has been passed down through the generations. As we navigate the evolving landscape of agriculture, we continuously strive to blend our rich legacy with modern innovation.

A Transition to Modern Processing

For decades, we dedicated ourselves to traditional manual processing, cherishing the artisanal approach that defined our craft. Like many other pistachio growers, we started with manual processing and traditional workers, dropping pistachios onto sheets of canvas and depending on our workforce to separate them one by one. At that time, we had no other options, and although this method had a sense of tradition, it proved to be time-consuming and prone to errors.

However, in 2017, we embarked on a transformative journey towards modernization. The introduction of two pistachio conveyor belts marked the beginning of our adherence to incorporating cutting-edge technology into our operations.

Warehousing for Efficiency

In 2018, we took another significant step forward by establishing a state-of-the-art warehouse processing facility. This expansion allowed us to enhance our capacity and efficacy. Two additional conveyor belts were seamlessly integrated, streamlining our processing capabilities.

With the implementation of a significantly larger and more industrialized warehouse, our processing and selling capacity experienced a notable boost. Human errors were reduced, processing times decreased, and our ability to accommodate more orders expanded, thanks to the increased space at our disposal.

Precision Sorting for Quality

The year 2021 saw a pivotal moment in our pursuit of excellence. We invested in four additional conveyor belts, each contributing to the precision sorting of pistachios. The introduction of the I-sorter Meyer, dedicated to the color of the kernels, exemplified our dedication to quality control.
Gradually, the need for some fundamental changes was emerging. As a result, our managers began strategizing on how to elevate our professionalism. We started equipping our laboratory to ensure quantity meets quality standards in parallel.

Adhering to Global Standards

By the end of 2022, we continued to push the boundaries of modernity by incorporating Meyer 2 into our operations. Meyer 2 leads in pistachio in-shell sorting technology, showcasing our commitment to industry innovation. Concurrently, we embarked on the ISO certification process to align with international standards, ensuring our practices and outputs meet global benchmarks. Recognizing the importance of our team's expertise, we have invested significantly in educating and training our human resources to uphold and maintain these standards.

Looking Ahead

Prior to our modernization efforts, we had the capacity to export 300 tons of pistachios per year. However, with our recent advancements, we have significantly expanded our potential, now poised to export up to 1000 tons of pistachios annually.
